All students board at CBAS (there are only 1-2 day students) and so the boarding life of the boys and girls becomes an integral part of their education at school.
The boys boarding facility operates off campus at the St. Joseph’s campus (the former Wandalgu), whilst the girls residence is at the school St Mary’s campus.
Boarding life effectively substitutes your child’s usual family life, so their duties and responsibilities will reflect what would be normal expectations in a Christian home.
Each year level has appointed to them a Boarding House Carer from whom the students ask for direction and guidance.

Boarding is a wonderful, rewarding experience for the boys and girls who commit to the life of the School; this experience is best when the boys and girls make an effort to join and be active in as many sporting, cultural, academic and social activities as possible.
During boarding time students have the opportunity to participate in a range of activities at a non-formal/non-competitive level. These include activities such as CALM Bushrangers, tennis, trampolining, horse riding (leisure), squash and Farm Skills practice in regional shows or simply going out on the Farm to assist the Farm Manager.
CBAS is proud to offer the boys and girls from different geographical, cultural and family backgrounds the opportunity to experience community living in the Boarding Houses. Boarding life means being thoughtful and respectful, it means living harmoniously with one another.

Like any community, however, CBAS boarding community requires rules that clearly define the rights and privileges of each student. With these rights and privileges come certain responsibilities. All boarders are expected to abide by these rules and to be accountable for their own actions. This will ultimately ensure the safety, wellbeing and happiness of all boarding students at CBAS.
